Hi, I’m Nathan Lenkowski, founder of LittleBigLab. I’ve been building for the web for over 15 years and have worked professionally as a project manager, front-end developer, back-end developer and web designer. I take pride in seeing projects from initial planning to deployment and have successfully launched websites and web applications for over forty clients in the United States and Europe.
I’ve had the opportunity to do work for established clients such as Discovery Channel, YMCA, LexisNexis, Thornberg & Forester and Jellyvision, as well as a variety of startups and small businesses in the United States and Europe. In 2014, I joined the Chicago-based development shop Blueberry Ln. While working remotely as Lead Developer I was responsible for technical planning and developer coordination, front-end development, WordPress development and back-end development with Laravel and Symfony. Recently I’ve returned to my freelancing roots and am looking forward to going full-time again when the right remote gig comes along.
I have a BA in Interactive Arts and Media from Columbia College Chicago and studied design and photography before the web got its hooks in me. I’ve been living and working remotely from a small town in Southern Spain since 2004 and am fluent in English and Spanish. In my free time you’ll find me out hiking, climbing or mountain biking. I love the outdoors as much as a good day of coding.
